I also have the latest publish version of Microsoft Desktop Sheet Music program. I'm a church musician working with choirs and small orchestral ensembles. I write original scores as well as arranging existing music. Have been using it for at least 15 years and still use it currently - it's so simple and versatile - love it. I have designated an old XP computer for just that. Of course, Microsoft no longer supports XP os. But as long as my computer does not die, I'll keep using this program. Would love to see an updated version for Windows 10 and beyond for sure.
I own the Midi-soft Desk Top Sheet Music 2.04 and love it. Recently, whenever I try to create triplets on the staff, the program shuts down. Can you help me with this?
I was the founder and developer of the Midisoft software. I moved on to other things back in 1997, but am thinking about moving on to write the next generation version. I would love you feedback about that.
I have 2.05 version. I love it! Have been using it with Windows XP. My computer died - hard drive died. I have a new hard drive with XP, but the program wants an ID# and doesn't like the one we've tried to give it. I need this one.
Guest, My daughter’s piano teacher has been using desk too sheet music for her students, but her old computer is dying and she has been given a new windows 10 computer. Unfortunately the software runs on that machine, but the files are unreadable. Is there any way to convert the .mmm files to something that can be read by another program (eg muse score) on her new machine, or do you have an upgrade that can run on that machine? Thanks!
I loved it and have not been able to get one for my computer for years. Desperately would like another one. It was so user friendly and it worked great for me.
